5 Fun and Healthy Foods For MLK Day!

Here are 5 easy, healthy, vegetarian and fun food for MLK day!

1. Chia Pudding

This is an amazing healthy and yummy dessert! Who wouldn’t want one?! They are so good! You can make them almost any flavor! Chocolate! YUM!! And the recipe is simple as pie… Well actually pie is hard to make… So its simple as… “Chia Pudding!”

Here is one recipe for a chocolate chia pudding!

CHIA PUDDING Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups dairy-free milk (we used DIY coconut – use creamier milks for creamier, thicker pudding, such as full fat coconut and cashew)
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Now all you have to do is eat it and enjoy your Yummy desert.

2. Pasta with VEGGIES!

Yes, it still tastes good! It even tastes better! Pasta and veggies always taste great! So look up a nice veggie pasta recipe and et to cooking!

3. Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and Cheese was one of MLK favorite food! So why not celebrate him with some Macaroni and Cheese! Baked macaroni and cheese is the healthiest and yummiest of all  macaroni and cheese! So look up a fun baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe and get too cooking!

4. Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie is one of MLK’s favorite desserts so why not honor him with one! Now I’m not a fan of Pies or Pecans, so its truly up to you if you would like to make this dessert! But have fun with what you will cook on MLK day!
